Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Protects Life informational website, estimate service, and request-for-contact service.
Educational information only
The website provides general information about life insurance. It does not provide insurance, legal, tax, investment, or financial advice, and it does not recommend a particular insurer or policy.
No application or guarantee
Any displayed price or premium is a non-binding estimate based on the information provided and an assumed underwriting class. It is not an offer, approval, recommendation, application, final premium, or guarantee of coverage. Submitting the contact form asks for contact and does not guarantee eligibility, price, coverage, or issuance. Any later application may be completed and submitted with an appropriately authorized producer after any required notice and consent. It remains governed by the issuing insurer's forms, underwriting, approval, payment, and policy terms.
State and product availability
The estimate experience accepts every U.S. state and the District of Columbia so a visitor can provide or correct the actual location used for an estimate. A state selector, product choice, or estimate does not establish that an agent is available, or that every carrier, product, term, rate class, or policy is available to a particular person. Agent follow-up is reviewed separately. Applicable producer authority, carrier appointments, product availability, and insurer requirements must be confirmed before an application.
Estimate access and contact choices
The Help Me Choose flow does not display individual estimates until contact information is provided. Some product paths first show a rounded price range and option count. Verification texts are optional and require a separate, unchecked permission box. If selected, a mobile number confirmed by a one-time text code unlocks carrier-neutral details. Manual callback permission is separate and optional. A callback-only request sends no text, leaves individual estimates locked, sends no estimate-copy email, and is not eligible for a partner reward. Email is optional on the verified path and requires separate permission when provided for an estimate copy. Other product paths use Ninja Quoter's native form, which requires name, email, and phone before displaying results. Providing a phone number in that separate form does not authorize automated calls or text messages.
Verification text program
Protects Life sends transactional verification codes only after you select the separate verification-text permission. Message frequency may vary, and standard message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out, START to opt back in, or HELP for help. An opt-out ends further Protects Life messages to that mobile number through this program unless you later opt back in. For help, email hello@protects.life. Delivery is subject to carrier availability and is not guaranteed.
Credential and appointment verification
Consumers can check an assigned producer record through their state insurance department or, where available, through the NAIC State Based Systems public lookup. A license record does not establish current carrier appointments, writing access, or product availability. Those must be confirmed for the visitor's state before insurance advice or application activity.
Accurate information and appropriate use
You agree to provide contact information that belongs to you and not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, submit unlawful content, or attempt to access other people’s information.
Referral rewards
An approved Protects Life partner may receive $25 when a consumer submits and verifies a legitimate, unique estimate request through that partner's link. The reward is based only on the accepted, verified request. It does not depend on contact, qualification, an application, purchase, policy, premium, or commission. A referral partner may see only the consumer's first name, last initial, submission date, confirmation state, reward status, and reward amount. Callback-only requests are not eligible for a reward.
Third-party services
The website may rely on hosting, storage, analytics, communications, Ninja Quoter, Compulife quote data, or insurer services provided by third parties. Embedded or linked quote services may collect estimate inputs and contact information directly and are governed by their separate terms and privacy policies. The page identifies when the selected product uses a provider's contact-first form.
